Ralph Konrady is a seasoned and accomplished custom home builder. With decades of experience under his belt, Ralph has built a strong reputation for his expertise, leadership, and unwavering commitment to quality. Throughout his career, he has successfully overseen countless custom construction projects.
Ralph's journey in construction began at an early age, as he was exposed to the industry through his family's construction business. This early immersion instilled in him a deep appreciation for the art of building and a strong work ethic. Over the years, he has honed his skills in project planning, client attention, and team coordination, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of projects. Ralph's ability to navigate complex challenges, adapt to changing environments, and foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, designers, and architects has made him a trusted figure in the industry.

Kelsey Elmore plays a crucial role in the family business, working diligently behind the scenes to ensure smooth organization. With a background as an elementary school teacher, Kelsey possesses a natural inclination for helping others. In our company, she serves as both the office manager and client coordinator.
As the first point of contact for many of our clients, Kelsey warmly welcomes them and addresses their inquiries. She is responsible for maintaining schedules, handling invoicing, and overseeing our marketing efforts.
One of the most rewarding aspects for Kelsey is the opportunity to work alongside her father and brother on a daily basis. She cherishes this familial bond and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!

Kelsey Elmore is the behind-the-scenes organization to the family business. As a former elementary school teacher, Kelsey loves helping others and is our office manager and our client coordinator. Often the first contact for many of our clients, Kelsey also maintains the scheduling, invoicing, and marketing. In addition, Kelsey coordinates all of our concierge and maintenance services for the home management side of our business. Kelsey loves that she gets to spend every day working side by side with her dad and brother, something she wouldn’t trade for the world!
Kelsey and her husband, Graham, love to spend time in the sunshine with their daughter, Palmer and sons, Jones and Davis.
If salary or logistics weren’t a factor, what job would you want to have?
“I would like to be an anchor on The Today Show!”
Jackie was born and raised in Wilmington, NC and graduated from East Carolina University in 2018 with a degree in Interpersonal/Organizational Communication.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on the boat, walking the loop and shopping!
What is your guilty pleasure?
“You can’t go wrong with two Surfer Dogs from Trolly Stop!”
Will joined Konrady and Son in June of 2022. He graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Business Development.

“Tower 7! I always order the Roadside Tacos and you can’t go wrong with their Wannabe Margaritas!”
Molly brings over two years of experience designing and building luxury waterfront homes with a high-end design-build firm, where she honed her skills in both architecture and interiors.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design with a minor in Sustainability from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Outside of work, Molly is a dedicated maker—she teaches pottery classes at Bookworm Pottery, works as a metalsmith, and enjoys creating stained glass pieces.
She shares her home with her beloved 14-year-old dog.
Her favorite local spot? Dockside at sunset—nothing beats the view.

Tanner Konrady has been working with his father since childhood. A graduate of Hoggard High School and UNCW, he is a fourth generation builder in every sense of the word. Tanner has dedicated himself to learning and absorbing every aspect of the construction industry and, like his father, is involved in every phase of the home building process. Tanner is on site every day to ensure the Konrady & Son Construction quality and standards are upheld.
When not building dream homes for his clients, Tanner enjoys being out on the boat, staying active, and being outside with his wife, Megan and their son, Tate and daughter, Lane.
When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
“A short-stop for the Atlanta Braves!”
Bill brings over 40 years of construction experience, starting with septic systems and moving through foundation work, concrete finishing, framing, and trim. He ran his own interior trim company before becoming a custom home site foreman and joined Konrady and Son in January 2025.
He’s been married to his wife Kathy for 36 years and has four children and 10 grandchildren.
Bill enjoys woodworking, outdoor activities, and time with family. His favorite tool on the job? His laser pointer.
Richard joined Konrady and Son in January 2022 and brings 10 years of construction experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
He’s married with three kids and two dogs, and enjoys spending time at the beach with his family. In his free time, Richard loves carpentry and working on hands-on projects.

Ben began working with Konrady and Son in 2017. Ben and his wife are enjoying spending time with their young son and daughter.
In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and friends on the water, surfing, playing golf and fishing!
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
“Surfing! It is my favorite thing to do!”
Dave has been with Konrady and Son since 2020 and has been in the carpentry industry since 2017.
He married his wife, Amanda, in 2021 and have a son and daughter! Dave enjoys surfing, camping and fishing in his free time.
If salary or logistics weren’t a factor, what job would you want to have?
“I would love to build tiny homes for those in need, domestic violence victims and veterans.
I would also love to work on a homestead!”
Katelyn began working with Konrady and Son in 2018 and has over a decade of experience in this industry. She has her associates in business.
Katelyn enjoys spending time with her friends and family and taking her dogs on hikes and to the beach!
When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
“I wanted to be a park ranger!”
With extensive experience as a carpenter, Michael has dedicated many years to his craft, exploring various facets such as flooring and marine construction. His diverse expertise shines through in his contributions to unique custom builds in Wrightsville Beach and Figure Eight Island. Notably, Michael takes pride in his service to the US Army.
Celebrating 12 years of marriage and the joy of raising three children, he finds a delightful balance amid the hustle of soccer and dance activities. Beyond his busy schedule, Michael harbors a genuine passion for the game of golf.
What was your 1st job?
"At 16 I was a bag boy at Piggly Wiggly in Burgaw."
With over three years of experience as a carpenter and team lead, Kaleb has built luxury log-style homes across the country. His craftsmanship, leadership, and dedication shine through on every job site.
Outside of work, Kaleb enjoys lifting, playing flag football, and staying active in all things sports. He’s also an avid reader. If salary and logistics weren’t a factor,
Kaleb’s dream job would be a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate or professional football level—combining his passion for athletics and performance.
John is from Greensboro, NC and has two step sisters and one sister that he is very close with. John has worked in construction since he graduated high school in 2019. His hobbies in his free time consist of lifting and bodybuilding.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
"I dreamed of playing in the NBA!"
Mark joined Konrady and Son in January 2025, bringing a unique and well-rounded background. He’s framed homes in Colorado and Montana, worked in the oil fields, served as a brewery marketing manager, reporter, and spent five years in Africa as a photojournalist.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Clemson University. Outside of work, Mark enjoys time on the water with his wife, daughter, brothers, and their families.
Dream job if anything were possible?
A National Geographic photographer.
Originally from Roanoke, VA, Ross grew up helping his dad renovate and maintain investment properties. After earning a degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Tennessee, he worked in construction sales with Milwaukee Tool before moving to Wilmington in 2023. There, he began working on custom homes with a local high-end finish carpentry team, gaining hands-on experience in fine craftsmanship.
Ross visits his family in southwest Virginia often, spending time with his parents, siblings, nephews, and their many dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, skiing, bass fishing, kayaking, and riding dirt bikes. If given the chance, he’d love to travel the world as a wildlife photographer.
With 33 years in construction, Will Lake brings experience and dedication to every build. He got his start at 14, but his passion began even earlier in his grandfather’s woodshop at age 4. A retired Navy Chief and instructor, his grandfather sparked Will’s love for craftsmanship.
Outside of work, Will enjoys life with his mom Becki, girlfriend Melissa, and their two dogs, June and Charlie. He’s passionate about motorcycles and woodworking—interests that reflect his hands-on nature and attention to detail.
Oliver has a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the outdoors, which makes his role in construction a natural fit. As someone who enjoys building things with his hands and seeing a project come to life, he finds fulfillment in the details and the process of bringing clients' visions to reality. With a strong work ethic and a team-first attitude, Oliver is proud to contribute to high-quality homes that families will enjoy for generations.
Outside of work, Oliver spends his time surfing, fishing, hunting, and boating with friends. His favorite local spot is Masonboro Island, where he can unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Carolina coast. A true outdoorsman at heart, Oliver’s respect for nature and structure shows through in the pride he takes in every project.
Oliver comes from a tight-knit family of five and brings that same sense of connection and care to every job site.
Jack is a UNC Chapel Hill graduate with a bachelor's degree in History and a strong appreciation for teamwork and discipline—qualities he brings to the construction industry every day.
He’s proud to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, a reflection of his commitment, leadership, and perseverance.
Jack is incredibly close with his family, including his parents and two sisters, and outside of work, he enjoys working out and reading.
Before joining Konrady & Son, Logan spent three years in the apartment industry, gaining valuable experience in project management and property operations. His hands-on knowledge and strong work ethic make him a great fit for the team. Outside of work,
Logan enjoys hunting, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
His favorite local spot? Lea Island—or really anywhere he can be out on the water.

Matt has a Bachelor in Business Administration / Finance focus. Matt has worked with hardwood floors since 2004 and owned his own flooring company since 2017! In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his 3 kids; Addy, Banks, and Ava Jane. Matt’s favorite activities are fishing and golfing.
When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
“I wanted to be a Navy Seal!”
With over five years of experience in the construction industry, Damian has been a valued part of the Konrady & Son team since 2020. He brings a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality to every project. Outside of work, Damian enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
When asked what he’d do if logistics and salary weren’t a factor, he said he’d love to explore the world with his family—combining his love for adventure and quality time with the people who matter most.
With a background in finish carpentry through his work with a local high-end carpentry team, Sam brings both craftsmanship and creativity to every project. He holds a bachelor's degree in Studio Art from UNCW, which adds a unique artistic perspective to his work in construction.
Outside of the job site, he enjoys life on the coast with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Tola and Beck. Most weekends you'll find them boating to Topsail to visit family or heading to Bald Head to relax with friends. A lifelong surfer and lover of the water, he’s always up for a day of sandbar hopping.

Ceviches restaurant that hits the spot after a long day!
